Spring in the Garden!
We have gone from cold and snow to sunny warm with temperatures near 80 degrees. In this mix of crazy weather the spring flowers have begun to find their way. The first to bloom in my garden are the daffodils. If you stand back and look they are a beautiful yellow or white and yellow. There seem to be marching across the yard.
For a gardener it is all about observation. So if you get closer and really look you see there are many varieties. There are two that look alike but the center or corona is a dark yellow on one and a pale yellow on the other. There are a couple where the corona is long and narrow while others it is short and floppy.
There is also the spice bush with yellow flowers to go along with the early spring yellow theme.
Our weather has cooled a bit, which is good so we can enjoy this splash of yellow before the tulips take over with their rainbow of colors. Hope you are enjoying spring as much as I am!
