It is May 11 and I have been absent from writing since mid April. I feel like a fell down a rabbit hole and have been wondering underground for a few weeks. This weekend I began to find my way home to my pile of books and my writing. And oh has the pile grown since I became lost in the the underworld. ( The truth is I fell down the testing hole and have been neck deep in setting up, running and checking all the ins, outs, ups and downs of testing. We have one week to go – we are on the home stretch and my brain is beginning to clear.)
My reading is still behind so there is little I can say but here is the list of books I am beginning to read:
- I am Malala – both the kids version and the adult version (heavy, non fiction reading)
- A Moose Boosh (funny poetry about food)
- All Four Stars (have not started)
- Echo (started but the testing world took over so I need to return to tell you more)
The joy of reading returns! It is rainy, cool and I have my cup of tea. Ready for a long night of reading!
I’m so sorry you have to deal with all this testing. It just doesn’t make any sense unless there is an ulterior motive to it. I’m saving Echo for summer reading.
I read just the first few chapters and I am excited to return to it. It is an interesting idea for a story.
I love how much Echo has been making the rounds! 🙂
